que lanzará un disco y una gira por los

MIAMI
El astrólogo Walter Mercado se apresta a diseminar
su “paz y amor” a través de un trabajo
discográfico y una gira con la que recorrerá
23 ciudades de Estados Unidos, se anunció el
viernes.
Bajo el título “El secreto de los ángeles”
la producción incluye dos discos y fue musicalizada
por el pianista Rey Casas.
En este proyecto Mercado “entrega secretos que
había guardado toda su vida pero considera es
tiempo de dar a conocer”, dijo en un comunicado
la agencia de relaciones públicas F&F Media.
“Reconozco que ha llegado el momento de que en
la Tierra podamos asimilar esta información para
crear un nuevo mundo de sensibilidad y entendimiento”,
habría dicho el astrólogo, según
la misma empresa.
Como parte de la gira, el disco será apoyado
por el espectáculo “Encuentro con los ángeles”
que se describe como “un mega show al estilo de
Las Vegas, similar al afamado Cirque du Soleil”.
Iluminación, efectos especiales, música
esotérica y coreografía “crearán
un espectáculo nunca antes visto, al tiempo que
el espectador descubrirá el mensaje que por tantos
años el astrólogo ha tenido que guardar
celosamente”, prometen los publicistas.
El evento, cuyas fechas aún no se anunciaron,
debutaría en Miami para luego recorrer varias
ciudades estadounidenses que incluyen Nueva York, Houston,
San Antonio, Los Ángeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco
y Chicago, además de su natal Puerto Rico.
Mercado, con su cabello platinado, sacos de brocado,
capas de satín y enormes anillos, se hizo famoso
como astrólogo, aunque inició su carrera
como actor de novelas y de teatro.
En la actualidad tiene un imperio con empresas que difunden
horóscopos por radio, televisión y diarios,
así como una cadena de adivinos que pronostican
el futuro por teléfono y una compañía
de perfumes, entre otras.

Walter Mercado will spread his “peace
and love” with a new album and a
tour that will span 23 cities throughout
the United States, announced Friday.
Under the title “El secreto de los
ángeles,” the production
includes two albums and contains music
by the pianist Rey Casas.
In this project, Mercado “delivers
secrets that he has saved throughout his
life but he feels it is time to let them
be known,” according to a press
release by the public relations firm F&F
Media.
“I realize that the time has come
so that the Earth can adapt to this information
to create a new world of sensibility and
understanding,” said the astrologist
in the same press release.
As part of the tour, the album will be
supported by the show “Encuentro
con los ángeles” that is
described as “a mega show with a
Las Vegas style, similar to the famous
Cirque du Soleil.”
Lighting, special effects, esoteric music
and choreography “will create a
show that has never been done before,
the moment the spectator discovers the
message that for so many years the astrologist
has selfishly hidden,” promise the
publicists.
The event, which has no announced dates,
will debut in Miami to later span various
American cities, which include New York,
Houston, San Antonio, Los Angeles, Las
Vegas, San Francisco and Chicago, as well
as his native Puerto Rico.
Mercado, with his platinum hair, gold
and silver jackets, satin capes and enormous
rings, became famous as an astrologist,
although he started his career as an actor
in telenovelas and in theater.
Currently he has a company that spread
his horoscopes via radio, television and
newspapers, a network of fortune-tellers
that predict the future via telephone
and a perfume company, among other things.
