05/30/80.Our column must begin this week
in only one way: talking about “Sex
and the City.” The film debuts today.
On Tuesday the film celebrated its New
York premiere. It was a parade of gowns
who did not disappoint. We can’t
wait to see the new adventures of these
four friends!
We continue to talk about film so we could
congratulate half as sexy as before Benicio
del Toro who took the prize for best actor
at the Cannes film festival for his role
as the revolutionary Che Guevara. Another
actor who’s played the legendary
character is Gael Garcia Bernal who premiered
the film “Déficit”
in Mexico, which also marks his directorial
debut. He’s already thinking about
returning behind the camera.
Let’s go to television because Michael
Urie, who plays Mark in “Ugly Betty,”
has said that there are rumors the television
series could become a Broadway musical.
And we leave you with pure chisme because
this week Madonna has obtained the official
adoption of the boy she has been taking
care of for almost two years, since 2006,
from a tribunal in Malawi. And yes, we
have seen the more than friendly photos
of Lindsay Lohan and DJ Samantha Ronson.
